Local boy, and Oprah Presidential Favorite, Barak Obama kinda sorta threw his hat into the ring for the 2008 Presidential Race.

I think this article (http://mydd.com/story/2006/10/22/175546/30) puts some good perspective into the debate over Obama as presidential candidate. I especially like his point that although Obama talks the talk, he has thus far been pretty hesitant about walking the walk. None the less, at least being able to talk to the talk would be a step up from Kerry 04 and Gore 00.
